1. Tufts, RIT Meet For Men’s National Championship

It will be a rematch of the 2024 DIII national final on Sunday as Tufts and RIT advanced to the title match with convincing semifinal victories.

Tufts (20-1) rolled over NESCAC rival Wesleyan, 23-7, to advance to the final for the fourth consecutive season. The Jumbos raced out to an 11-3 lead after 15 minutes and extended the margin to 19-5 at half. The dynamic duo of Jack Regnery (7-2) and Brooks Hauser (5-2) combined for 12 goals and four assists, while Chase Beyer contributed four goals and two helpers. Jack Old made eight saves for Tufts.

RIT (19-4) is back in the final for the third time in six seasons following a 16-12 win at Bowdoin. The Tigers used a 9-2 blitz over a 24-minute span of the first half to turn a 2-1 deficit into a 10-4 lead at intermission. RIT kept pouring it on, extending its advantage to 15-6 before the Polar Bears scored six of the final seven goals. Ryan Sanders led the way with five goals, while David Charney added four and an assist. Casey Ryan and Sam Raye-Steiner had 4-2 and 5-0, respectively, for Bowdoin (19-2).

Tufts won the 2024 championship with an 18-14 win in Philadelphia.

2. Salisbury Takes On NESCAC Trio In Women’s Final Four

Salisbury will carry the banner for the remainder of Division III as the Sea Gulls and three NESCAC teams - Middlebury, Tufts and Wesleyan - advanced to the NCAA semifinals this weekend in Rochester, N.Y.

The four-time defending champion Panthers (21-0) scored the game’s first 11 goals on their way to a 19-4 rout of TCNJ. Caroline Adams had two goals and three assists for Middlebury, while Parker Hanson handed out four assists. The Panthers outshot the Lions (18-3), 32-9.

Tufts (17-3) will take on Middlebury in one semifinal in a rematch of the 2025 national final, as the Jumbos turned away pesky Williams, 16-10. The Ephs trailed 12-10 midway through the final period before Tufts reeled off four unanswered goals to put the game away. Eleanor Helm was outstanding for the Jumbos with five goals and six assists.

Salisbury (20-0) returns to the national semis for the third time in the last six years following a 17-4 trouncing of Christopher Newport. The Sea Gulls dominated throughout, limiting the Captains (16-7) to just nine shots. Miranda Mears led the way for Salisbury with four goals, while Lauren Hackett had three goals and an assist, as the Gulls defeated CNU for the 34th straight meeting.

Wesleyan rallied from a 4-3 halftime deficit to down neighboring rival Trinity, 7-5. Kaeley Zito gave the Bantams (14-6) the one-goal margin at intermission before the Cardinals (18-3) scored four unanswered tallies, including a pair from Addie Cummings, to seize control. Dylan Green had 2-3 for Wesleyan, while Izzy Weintraub made six saves.

3. IWLCA All-Region Teams

The IWLCA has honored 256 student-athletes in Division III with a selection to one of the All-Region teams for 2026. These student-athletes are now eligible to be named to a national IWLCA All-America team. The IWLCA will announce the 2026 IWLCA Division III All-America teams on May 22.”
