TOP STORY

1. 2026 Season Previews

For the next few weeks, we’ll be taking a look at DIII team and conference previews as we get closer and closer to the opening faceoff/draw of the 2026 season.

2. Centennial Conference (M)

Dickinson made a surprising run all the way to the national final a year ago and is the favorite to repeat as Centennial champs in 2026.

The Red Devils (17-6) have headliners at each position - A Landen Hyatt, M Luke Whalen, D Jack Deady and SSDM Sam Bunten.

Hard to believe but it has been 10 seasons since Gettysburg (15-5) won a CC title. The Bullets look to end that streak behind M Ethan Kessler, D Frank Barbera, and LSM Will Hedley. Swarthmore (12-5) may have the top offensive player in the Conference in A Clay Almgren, while Muhlenberg (10-8) has a potent 1-2 in A Chase Kusko and M Jack Bill.

The last team to win a CC title before Dickinson’s four-year run? Franklin & Marshall. The Diplomats (11-5) return All-America GK Teddy Scarborough, as well as close defenders Luke Topley and Jackson Barnhill. M Dillon Mannix leads the offense. Ursinus (5-10) looks to crack the top four behind A Harry Sweitzer.

Elliot Cohen, Washington and Lee | Sideline Media

The ODAC race is always one of the most competitive in DIII and this season looks no different as defending champ Washington and Lee will face challenges from Lynchburg, Hampden-Sydney and Randolph-Macon.

The Generals welcome back a pair of All-Americans in A James Haley and SSDM Elliot Cohen. GK Nick De Cain returns to man the cage, but W&L must find a replacement for first-team All-America FO Tyler Spano who transferred to Notre Dame.

Lynchburg will be led offensively by A Riley Hastings and M Liam Holman, while Luke Meadows and Parker Sealey will anchor the defense. Hampden-Sydney looks to make a return to the top of the conference behind A Cole Palmer and Kavin Wood. Patrick Hanes and Grant Sobel are the headliners at midfield for the Tigers.

Randolph-Macon will be strong defensively with the return of All-American Mike Allen along with Brodie Kent. Grant Sobel heads the midfield, while Will Robertson may be the top face-off man in the ODAC. Don’t sleep on Roanoke, as the Maroons return M Julian Kammerman, along with D Weston Hammond.

Marissa Lucca, TCNJ | photo by Arion Owes

After winning 14 consecutive NJAC titles, is there a reason not to pick TCNJ to make it 15 in a row?

The Lions (14-5) return a pair of outstanding attackers in Marissa Lucca and CJ Kole who combined for 106 goals a year ago. Veronica Campbell is the headliner at midfield along with Gabriella Roosa, while Meghan Hogan anchors the backline.

Rowan will be TCNJ's main challenger. The Profs (16-3) are led by All-America A Elaina Corson who set a program single-season record with 84 goals in 2025. Alexis Lowry and Fiona Lockhart combined for 71 goals, while Trish Gillen handed out 34 assists.

Montclair State welcomes back A Kaeley Sek and M Norah Monaghan of the offensive side, while D Samantha Handzo and GK Joey Grotkopf take care of the backline.

Stockton’s Madison McGillivray tallied 44 times a year ago and Ramapo’s Erin Smelius tickled the twine 34 times as they hope to lead their teams to the conference playoffs. Kean looks strong on defense with the return of M Ella Petrosh and D Drew Coyle.
