1. LVC Alum Competes For Philippine National Lacrosse Team

Trey Ralston
“Trey Ralston '25, a former attacker for the Lebanon Valley College men's lacrosse team, excelled for the Philippine National Team in the Hong Kong International Sixes tournament earlier this winter.
Ralston made his international lacrosse debut in late December of 2025 at this three-day event. The sixes lacrosse format started in 2021 and features a fast-paced style of play, with each team having six players on the field, games lasting 45 minutes, and a smaller playing surface than a traditional lacrosse field. Ralston competed for one of the seven men's teams in the 2025 Hong Kong International Sixes.”
» The Key Stat. “Ralston was invited to join the team two and a half months before the start of the tournament, based on his success with Lebanon Valley's men's lacrosse team. A standout attacker at LVC, Ralston concluded his time with the Dutchmen ranked second in program history with 79 career assists, third with 197 career points, and fourth with 118 career goals. His 25 assists during the 2025 campaign are also the fourth-most by an LVC player in a season.”
» Why It Matters. "Representing the Philippine National Team was truly a dream come true," Ralston said. "Being able to represent my heritage on an international stage meant everything to me, and I knew it also meant a great deal to my family and relatives of Filipino descent. Beyond personal pride, it was an incredible honor to be part of something bigger than myself and to make my family proud."
» Field Awareness. “Ralston said that he entered the experience thinking that it would be the last chapter of his lacrosse-playing career. However, the lifelong friendships and memories he created over these few days have prompted him to consider competing in future international events.”

7. Is 114 Ounces of Ketchup Too Much? Apparently Not

“Heinz is tapping into game-day culture with a new product that takes the condiment bottle off the table entirely. The Heinz KegChup, launching January 27, is a full-on ketchup keg — a 19.5-inch, 10-pound dispenser designed to keep watch parties stocked through the final whistle.
Heinz first teased the idea on Instagram last fall, and fans didn't hold back. The post pulled nearly one million views and thousands of comments, pushing the brand to actually make it. "NEED THIS IRL," one user wrote. "Dream tailgate set-up," said another. Even Tide jumped in, calling the KegChup "iconic."
Now, just ahead of the Big Game, Heinz is making good on the hype.
Standing nearly two feet tall, the KegChup holds 114 ounces of Heinz's signature sauce and features an easy-to-use spigot that lets fans pour directly onto plates or into ramekins without squeezing, shaking, or waiting for the bottle to catch up. No portion control, no pacing — just let your heart decide.”
